Brenda Yee

Brenda grew up in Cerritos, CA and graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Public Health and Integrative Biology. She found her passion for global health after traveling to Yunnan, China to help screen for congenital heart disease in elementary school children. She has also traveled to La Misión, Mexico to help provide eye exams to those who lacked access to basic medical care. Back at home, Brenda spent her time serving the local community by volunteering at a non-profit clinic to provide free hepatitis B screenings and vaccinations. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, yoga, and eating noodles. She looks forward to traveling to Indonesia to increase ultrasound education in communities abroad while exploring novel applications of ultrasound to improve medical care.
